Purpose of the project
Promotion of the internationalization of SMEs in order to contribute to increasing the competitiveness of EU border regions.
Idea and short description of the project
The idea of the project is to use the potential of enterprises located in the border areas in order to increase the degree of their internationalization and thus increase their competitiveness. INTER VENTURES brings together partners from five European border regions, representing different stages in the evolution of SME ecosystems, ranging from occasional collaboration to more structured networking and international clustering. During the project implementation, partners will intensively share their experiences and learn together through two thematic visits on good practice and four interregional meetings combining training with discussions. Regional stakeholders will be involved in the implementation of the project. On the other hand, the project aims to contribute to the improvement of existing business support mechanisms (policies related to EU funds available to SMEs). As a result of the project implementation, locally tailored regional action plans will be developed that can lead to the desired improvement of five selected regional ERDF programs to strengthen the internationalization of SMEs.
