Idea and short project description

Carpathia Culture Net – is an idea to create a cooperation system between cultural institutions, including museums or cultural centres as tourist information centers and integrators of the cultural potential of the region. A functional and well-managed system based on networking and effective communication allows for better resource management and organization of tourist traffic in the region, among others through joint promotion. In the case of museums, it additionally creates a cooperation network allowing for the exchange of museum objects, know-how and shared experiences.

Activities

  • Audit (including inventory) of facilities operating in the field of culture – local/regional cultural centres and centres and museum institutions (e.g. museums, open-air museums, regional chambers or chambers of remembrance)
  • Development of a system of cooperation and networking of entities and people from the cultural sector called “Carpathia Culture Net”
  • Development of the Carpathia Museum Pass brand strategy – the Carpathian museum passport based, among others, on Swiss models and recommendations for museums/entities managing museum facilities
  • Workshops and consultation meetings
  • Development of the Carpathia Museum Pass and Carpathia Culture Net publications
  • Participation in the ITF SLOVAKIATOUR tourism fair and the International Tourism and Leisure Fair in Wrocław
