Realized project value: € 54,126.73, including co-financing from the ERDF: 40 € 34.195,
As part of the micro-project, a new tourist route has been mapped out - the Trail of Historical Recipes - running through the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and northern Slovakia. The trail connects places associated with the artisanal production of regional products, such as: beers, wines, natural tinctures, meads, as well as traditional snacks and dishes. Project activities also included, among others: commercialization of the trail, workshops and a conference for project partners, creating a website for the trail and a dedicated application, as well as the publication of paper materials about the trail, such as a guide, folder and map of the trail.
The main activities carried out under the project:
- Creation of the Trail of Historical Recipes and implementation of the Trail brand . A new cross-border tourist product, the Trail of Historical Recipes, was created, consisting of 16 main points located in the Polish-Slovak border. The route covers areas related to local producers of regional products such as beer, wine, liqueurs and spirits. The Historic Recipes Trail is a completely new product on the tourist attractions market. There is no trail on the market, the subject of which would be to learn about the history of the production of traditional alcoholic beverages: beers, wines, spirits, liqueurs, vodkas, etc. The trail creates a joint cross-border offer for tourists from Poland and Slovakia. It is a ready-made package, both in the form of trips for self-organization (suggestions for trips indicated in the guide, brochure, mobile application and on the website dedicated to the trail) as well as it was introduced for sale by a travel agency in a commercialized form.
- Promotional activities on the Trail consisted of organizing four one-day workshops, both in Poland and Slovakia, and conferences. During the workshops, it was possible to exchange experiences, good practices, and establish cooperation between the facilities on the Trail. A total of 123 people participated in the workshops. The conference was held according to the leading topic: Health-promoting recipes - an offer for tourists looking for a healthy, regional product "Historical Recipes Trail". At the beginning, the Historic Recipes Trail was opened and the tourist season was inaugurated by symbolically cutting the ribbon by invited special guests. 92 people participated in the conference.
- Creation of the Trail's website and an application related to its subject . The result of the project is a website with full information about the trail and a special application, free for tourists, concerning the subject of the Trail and its exploring. Both of these e-products are tools for promoting the Trail, as well as an educational element that allows you to present in one place the products created on the Trail, traditional recipes and elements related to their use. They are also platforms thanks to which it is possible to show the history, culture and traditions of selected regions. Thus, the material and non-material heritage was preserved, in a way that is attractive to today's audience.
