Increasing the attractiveness of the existing cross-border horse-drawn carriage and wine route through the creation of new cross-border products, promotion, development and sustainable use of the common cultural and natural heritage of regions in order to increase the attractiveness of the border area for tourists is the main goal of the project. Two tourist products have been developed alongside the existing cross-border routes. In Posada Zarszyńska, in the historic manor park, the "Quest" and the path of cultural and natural heritage were created, while in the village of Demjata a tourist and leisure park was created. There were also workshop meetings and integration events.
The main activities carried out under the project:
- Establishing a tourist and recreational park . A relaxation area has been created in Demjat, at the same time promoting the protection of the natural heritage. A lake has been prepared in the marshy area. Its area is 471 m2. In the park there are: 1 gazebo, 2 brick fire places, 2 wooden platforms, a set of benches and tables in the gazebo, 3 litter bins, 8 fire benches, 7 information boards.
- Organization of integration and educational events as well as those promoting cultural and natural heritage . A number of promotional events were organized in the Zarszyn Commune. 50 people (including 20 from Slovakia) participated in the thematic conference inaugurating the project. During the "Polish - Slovak meeting with nature and culture", the cultural and natural heritage of the Zarszyn Commune was promoted as part of the "Summer in the Regions" program broadcast on TVP Rzeszów. However, during the workshops entitled "Building a common brand and tourist offer" the participants learned about the principles of creating a good tourist offer
- Organization of integration and educational events as well as those promoting cultural and natural heritage . A tourist rally was organized in Demjat, in which 50 people participated (including 20 people from Poland). The purpose of the rally was to present the cultural and natural attractions in the area and in the village of Demjata itself. During the closing conference, the results and effects of the project were presented on both sides of the border.
- Questing- a new tourist product on the cross-border horse-train trail . In the historic park in Posada Zarszyńska and its vicinity, a "questing" "In the footsteps of cultural and natural heritage" was created. There are many interesting attractions in this area, including several monuments and peculiarities of nature. An additional attraction is also a 375 m long cultural and natural heritage path with a mock-up of the manor, boards and lenses for observing storks and the surrounding area. In order to rest, benches with 10 baskets were installed. The tree stand was also supplemented. Thanks to the creation of Quest, the tourist can discover the cultural and natural heritage, and the small infrastructure is an attraction on the cross-border train and horse trail that runs next to the park.
