We invite you to a forest hike and an exciting climb to Czarnorzek and Korczyna! Amateurs of this form of sport and recreation will find objects that constitute the largest group of rocks in the Podkarpackie Province, with varying degrees of difficulty. The combination of the newly delineated sectors of climbing routes in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship and the Presov Region with the existing Trans-Carpathian Archaeological and Cultural Trail, running from Karpacka Troy in Trzcinica to Hanuszowice nad Topla, contributed to increasing the tourist potential of the Polish-Slovak Foothills by enriching the area with a new sector of climbing tourism. As part of the promotion of climbing tourism, 2 climbing meetings were organized - on the Polish and Slovak side, and a cross-border tourist guide was issued.
The main activities carried out under the project:
- Setting out the "Slanské vrchy" climbing trail. The climbing sectors of Zámutovské skály and Bodoň, which are located in the geographical area of Slanské vrchy - approx. 22 km in total, have been combined into one trail. These are the climbing sectors adapted to this discipline, located approximately 12 km away. from the Transcarpathian Archaeological and Cultural Trail, running from the Carpathian Troy in Trzcinica to Hanuszowice on Topla. There are 6 boards on the designated climbing sectors, which will mark the way to the climbing areas through the existing roads and hiking trails. The boards have been installed in the town of Hanušovce nad Topľou, the Bodoň castle has been installed in the climbing sector (2 information boards), and in the climbing sector - Zamutovské sky (2 information boards). One information board has been placed in the city of Presov, at the site where the climbing activity point was created.
- Organization of the Slovak - Polish Climbing Meeting in Prešov and Zamutowskie Rocks in Slovakia. The Korczyna commune was represented by 6th grade students in the sports profile of the Primary School in Korczyn, who, under the supervision of instructors, were able to efficiently climb both outdoor rock climbing routes and difficult crossings in the rope park in Prešov. It was a great opportunity for active sports integration of young climbing adepts from Poland and Slovakia. 60 people attended the meeting.
- Delineation of the climbing sector "Czarnorzeckie Rocks". The areas covering the Strzyżowsko-Dynowskie Foothills were combined into one climbing sector. The delineated sector includes rocks located within the borders of Korczyna and Czarnorzeki. They constitute the largest group of rocks in the Podkarpackie Province. New climbing routes have been marked out in the area of 3 rock groups: Sokola Grzbiet, Strzelnica and Przełom Marcinek. They are very attractive in terms of climbing, have a rich rock relief and lie in shady forest areas. The rocks and the near-by areas have been equipped with appropriate infrastructure for climbing both by amateur climbers and advanced climbers (310 climbing rings, information boards and boards). The new climbing sectors were connected with the existing Trans-Carpathian Archaeological and Cultural Trail, running from the Carpathian Troy in Trzcinica to Hanuszowice on Topla. The trail runs approximately 8 km from the rock sectors.
- Organization of the Polish - Slovak Climbing Meeting in the Korczyna commune. The group associated with the SKALNA HRANA Foundation in Prešov had the opportunity to learn about the conditions of climbing on sand rocks in the "Strzelnica" and "Sokoli ridge" sectors in Czarnorzyce. They were accompanied by young climbers from the Primary School in Korczyn. 60 people attended the meeting.
- Establish a climbing activity point. A climbing wall was purchased, where you can conduct free climbing training for beginners and intermediate climbers. The climbing activity point in Presov has been marked on information boards, which makes it an important point on the trail that marks the climbing sectors including Zámutovské skály and Bodoň, which are located in the geographical area of Slanské vrchy. The wall was installed in the Rope Park in Presov,
