The micro-project activities focused on the fashion industry, and the culminating point was an international fashion show in the courtyard and in the Wodzicki Palace in Tyczyn. 20 models took part in it, presenting costumes designed especially for this occasion. The collection referred to the cultural and natural heritage of the Rzeszów poviat and the city of Świdnik. The next task was to organize an international competition for the best fashion design and to make the designed element of the outfit. All works referred to the heritage of historical heritage, local folklore and the specificity of the borderland. Photographs were also taken showing architectural monuments and nature landscapes in the area of individual communes of the Rzeszów poviat and the city of Świdnik, where models in the costumes of a young fashion designer were presented. Costumes skilfully combined contemporary trends with patterns that influenced the population of the borderland in the past, and also referred to the regional tradition and history of fashion customs in the Polish-Slovak borderlands.
The main activities carried out under the project:
- International competition for the best fashion design and execution of the designed element of the outfit - the prepared works referred to the achievements of historical heritage, local folklore and the specificity of the borderland. Any resident of the Rzeszów poviat or the city of Świdnik could participate in the competition. The prizes for the winners of the first place were professional photo sessions of the winning works with photo prints and the creation of a professional portfolio, as well as presentation of the works at a fashion show.
- Professional photo sessions in the open air in individual communes of the Rzeszów poviat and the city of Świdnik with costumes of the star of the evening against the background of monuments - as part of the task, professional photos of architectural monuments and natural landscapes were taken in individual communes of the Rzeszów poviat and the city of Świdnik, with the participation of models dressed in the outfits of a successful young fashion designer. The character and materials used in the costume designs alluded to the regional tradition and the history of fashion habits in the Polish-Slovak borderland.
- Organizing the Carpathian Art of Fashion event - fashion in the service of the borderland heritage in the courtyard and in the Wodzicki Palace in Tyczyn - The focal point of the event was a fashion show with 20 models and models, decorated with fireworks, presenting costumes specially designed for this occasion by a designer from the Polish-Slovak border area with a recognized achievements.
- Organizing and conducting 3 thematic workshops - beauty and aesthetics for youth from secondary schools and local government employees from the Rzeszów poviat and the city of Świdnik - A total of 130 people participated in the workshops, including 46 people from Slovakia. During the workshops, the subject of make-up, styling and the art of clothing as well as the principles of savoir-vivre were discussed.
