Biodiversity Rally in Huwniki
It is never too early to learn ecology, therefore, respecting the natural diversity of the Polish-Slovak borderlands, we set off for the Biodiversity Summit in Huwniki. Young researchers had many attractions ahead of them, incl. multimedia presentations, shows, lectures, competitions and various workshops. Here, microscopes were waiting in line for young minds to observe, ready - the subject of botanical and zoological objects. Then it's time for ornithology - the listeners strained their ears, recognized the sounds of the forest and bird trills. The hunters focused their eyes on the traces, and the forest treasure hunters looked for healing specimens of the flora. The Eco-Olympics tested the knowledge gained, because there were also exercises in ecology, all ecology is an important element of preserving biodiversity. For this also, among others astronomy and craft workshops. Plus, lots of prizes and healthy competition. The result: the young minds hungry for knowledge are ready to protect biodiversity. It was both nice and fun - because learning about biodiversity works best outside the school walls.

A history lesson on the streets of Krosno
And now it's time to learn about history, but history at school is not always fascinating, so instead of sitting in the school bench, we went on a tour with a guide. Such interesting historical lessons are best taken on the streets of Krosno. Here the tenement tells its story, there the museum will discover its treasures, and the church will show us its secrets. And then we supplement the accumulated knowledge and descriptions, stopping for a moment in the city's old town. Here, the model of the Renaissance Krosno allows you to see the known ones, or it will become the starting point for the next lessons. These lessons are not only a journey in the footsteps of cultural heritage, but also a search for one's own social and cultural identity in getting to know ancient history and traditions. Students impatiently, unfortunately in a trained bench, but already waiting for the next historical sightseeing and getting to know the old one.

Battle in Mymoń
And now we go back for a moment to the past, to the memories of our great-grandfathers, where local stories spin. Time for the historical fate of our little homelands. For a moment we go back to 1915. This time, the reconstruction of the battle in Mymoń, which took place between the combined Austrian-Prussian forces and Russian troops as part of the Gorlice operation during the First World War. The roar of the cannons spread around, explosions and air combat of planes. Drill shows - it's time to get ready, hide behind the embankment or go to battle. A house is burning here, the flag is fluttering there, and a former paramedic will save the wounded. And remembering the past and protecting the memory of those who died in battle, the time for a moment of reflection comes when we have to lay flowers on a soldier's grave. The whole event was an excellent history lesson, not only for amateurs, but also for enthusiasts. We hope that similar reconstructions will appear in the calendar of local events for good.

Craft Fair in Przeworsk
Let's break away from modernity for a moment and go back to the past. And as traditions and local crafts are gaining more and more attention, more and more people are cultivating them anew. This time, the Craft Fair in Przeworsk tempted everyone to have fun and to nurture the past. A village of old crafts appeared among the singing and local dances. Where you could hear the clatter of a blacksmith's hammer and the bellows warmed the May afternoon, any blacksmith could stay for a while: hit the hammer and blow the bellows. Where the potter's wheel spun around, we made ourselves clay jugs, and silver tin flowed at the convist's shop to make ornaments. Or maybe the light of the candle tempted someone and he set out to make one himself. And felting - for everyone and simple. Or maybe someone has shoemaking and saddlery skills, so he joined a saddler and shoemaker. And the minting of old coins and the twisting of the rope, and the charm of the story convinced everyone. Like the Middle Ages - knights are obligatory, so the bow can be found and the swords are ready. Anyone, small or large, could test and set out on a craft route. In addition, there were stands and stalls with the products of local artists. In beautiful spring weather, the atmosphere was nice and cheerful. We are waiting for the next Fair this year.
