A contract was signed in Przemyśl, at the headquarters of the Bieszczady Border Guard Unit, for the implementation of the project "Cross-border Trail of Former Border Guard Outposts" for the Lutowiska commune, as part of the Small Projects Fund of the Interreg Poland-Slovakia Program 2021-2027.

The cross-border trail will serve as a reminder of the history of places that have long been important points on the border protection map.

The project will mark the locations of 24 Border Guard outposts that operated on the Polish-Czechoslovak border during the interwar period. These are important topics, especially in the context of border security.
