Carpathian Euroregion at ITF SLOVAKIATOUR 2026 in Bratislava
From January 29–31, 2026, we had the pleasure of participating in the ITF SLOVAKIATOUR International Tourism Fair in Bratislava – one of the most important industry events in the region.
Our presence at the fair focused on promoting the cultural and tourism potential of the Carpathians and building relationships with partners from Slovakia and other European countries. We paid particular attention to presenting the results of the "Carpathia Culture Net – a networking system for cultural sector entities" project, which supports the development of cooperation between cultural institutions in the borderland.
During the event:
- We conducted discussions with representatives of the tourism and cultural sectors,
- We promoted the idea of institutional networking and joint cross-border activities,
- We presented examples of good practices in the use of cultural heritage in tourism,
- We encouraged people to discover the Carpathians through less obvious forms of travel – close to nature, locality, and authentic experiences.
For us, participating in the fair was not only an opportunity to promote the region, but above all, a space to exchange inspiration and explore new avenues of cooperation. Meetings with partners demonstrated the enormous potential of activities based on shared heritage and intercultural dialogue.
We thank everyone who visited our stand and participated in the discussions – we look forward to seeing you at future joint initiatives!
The "Carpathia Culture Net – a networking system for cultural sector entities" project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Interreg Poland-Slovakia 2021–2027 program.
