Carpathian tourist communes - analysis of resources and potential

Idea and short description of the project

The management of facilities and entire areas of a tourist nature should be based on an up-to-date and complete database that allows drawing correct conclusions and planning accurate investment or promotional plans. At present, there is a lack of complementary research allowing for strategic planning and shaping solutions at the local, regional or national level. As part of the project, a comprehensive database will be developed, i.e. a tool for interpreting research results - for a selected area, i.e. the Komańcza commune. The tool will allow the development of recommendations to be applied by the authorities and entities involved in the development and promotion of tourism in the region.

Activities

1. Research on the tourist market with a qualitative and quantitative analysis of tourist traffic in the area of the Komańcza commune, together with the development of a tool to support the decision-making process at the local and regional level.
2. Mid-term meeting at which the results of the research will be presented, and concepts of ideas that could contribute to the development of tourism in the commune based on the presented research results will be discussed.
3. A summary meeting during which the recommendations and guidelines of the Expert Team for the Komańcza Commune will be presented.
